Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part
1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted. This document replaces GB 18436-2001 "Engine logbook and clock record book", compared with GB 18436-2001, except for structural adjustment and editing In addition to the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) The record content of the engine logbook of the diesel engine ship has been changed (see 4.1.1,
3.1.4 of the.2001 edition);
b) Added the record content of the engine logbook of electric propulsion ships (see 4.1.2);
c) Changed the recording requirements of the engine logbook (see 4.2,
3.1 of the.2001 edition);
d) Changed the format and layout requirements of the cover of the engine logbook, pages V to VI (see
4.4.2 and 4.4.8, Figure 1 and.2001 edition). 3.4.2.7);
e) The requirements for registration and issuance of engine logbooks are deleted (see
3.3 of the.2001 edition);
f) Changed the recording requirements of the clock record book (see 5.2,
4.1 of the.2001 edition);
g) The registration and issuance requirements of the clock record book are deleted (see

This document specifies the record content, record requirements, storage requirements, format and layout requirements and printing production of the engine logbook and the clock record book. Require. This document applies to all Chinese nationals on international voyages and domestic coastal voyages of 500 gross tonnage or more than 750 kW total main engine power.
