Scope

GB 15090-2005 is the English-translated version of 消防软管卷盘.

GB 15090 is the product standard for the fire hose reel — the semi-rigid hose on a drum, mounted in a cabinet or on a wall, that an occupant can use on a small fire before the brigade arrives. It sets the classification and types, the technical requirements for the reel, the hose, the nozzle and the inlet valve, the working and burst pressures, the flow and throw, the durability of the swivel and the corrosion resistance, then the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking. It is replaced by GB 15090-2026. Issued on 22 April 2005, in force since 1 December 2005, replacing GB 15090-1994. It replaces GB 15090-1994, which is superseded.

It is itself replaced by GB 15090-2026.
