Scope
GB 15090-2005 is the English-translated version of 消防软管卷盘.
GB 15090 is the product standard for the fire hose reel — the semi-rigid hose on a drum, mounted in a cabinet or on a wall, that an occupant can use on a small fire before the brigade arrives.

This document was issued on 22 April 2005 by the Standardization Administration of the PRC, and took effect on 1 December 2005.
It replaces GB 15090-1994, which is superseded.
It is itself replaced by GB 15090-2026.
