1 Scope

This standard specifies the product classification and identification, safety level, and user class of control indicating devices used in intrusion and emergency alarm systems, functional requirements, power requirements, safety, environmental adaptability, electromagnetic compatibility, product information, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, shipping and storage requirements.

This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of control indicating devices in intrusion and emergency alarm systems.
