Scope
YS/T 928.8-2026 is the English-translated version of 镍钴锰三元前驱体化学分析方法 第8部分:镍、钴、锰含量的测定 X射线荧光光谱法.
Part 8 of the series on chemical analysis of nickel cobalt manganese ternary precursor, YS/T 928.8-2026 describes the determination of nickel, cobalt and manganese contents by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
The method applies to the determination of nickel, cobalt and manganese in the precursor, with measuring ranges of 15.00% to 60.00% for nickel, 1.00% to 15.00% for cobalt and 1.00% to 25.00% for manganese. It is used by precursor and battery material producers, buyers and testing laboratories. It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 July 2026 and takes effect on 1 February 2027. It is a new standard.
