YS/T 87-2021 is the Chinese non-ferrous metals industry method for taking and preparing samples of the anode slime (anode mud) produced in copper and lead electrorefining, the by-product from which precious metals such as gold and silver are recovered. It covers the general provisions, sampling, sample preparation, the determination of moisture, and the storage and labelling of samples, for anode slime delivered in bags. It replaces YS/T 87-2009.
