This part of YD/T 6825 specifies the basic principles and the method for grading the cybersecurity of industrial Internet identification resolution enterprises. For these enterprises it also gives the grading elements with explanations, and the scoring rules. An identification resolution enterprise is one that operates the systems which resolve identifiers attached to industrial objects. The part applies mainly to classification and grading management of industrial Internet enterprise cybersecurity and is used by identification resolution enterprises to carry out self-grading.

The standard is voluntary, as the /T in the code shows. Identification resolution enterprises are the principal users, along with the assessment bodies that support them. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it; it was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard and Part 3 of a series that also has parts for industrial enterprises and platform enterprises.
