This part of YD/T 6825 specifies the cybersecurity grading method for industrial Internet platform enterprises. For these enterprises it gives the grading elements with explanations, and the scoring rules. It applies mainly to the classification and grading management of industrial Internet enterprise cybersecurity, and it is used by industrial Internet platform enterprises to carry out self-grading of their own cybersecurity.

The standard is voluntary (code with /T). Companies that operate industrial Internet platforms are the principal users, and assessment bodies that help them with grading can use it as well. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard and Part 2 of a series; the other parts address industrial enterprises that apply the industrial Internet and identification resolution enterprises, so each type of enterprise follows the part written for it.
