Introduction

Import and export industrial product inspection results Part 2. Quality and Safety Qualification

1 Scope

This part of SN/T 4238 specifies the requirements for the declaration of quality and safety of import and export industrial products, issuance and conformity assurance review Check and so on.

This part is applicable to the entry and exit inspection and quarantine institutions (hereinafter referred to as inspection and quarantine institutions) for the inspection of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions.

The Catalogue of Inbound and Outbound Commodities for Inspection and Quarantine (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue") and other laws and administrative regulations shall be subject to inspection by entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions.

The conformity statement for the inspection of import and export industrial products is subject to the conformity assessment procedure for the conformity assurance review.

Import and export industrial products that require supervision and random inspection outside the Catalogue may be referred to.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined by SN/T 4238.1-2015 apply to this document.

4 Basic principles

For the import and export of industrial products to which this section applies, their brand, manufacturer or consignee or consignor shall issue and provide a declaration of conformity.

The inspection and quarantine institution shall implement a quality and safety qualification review for the safety compliance statement. If it meets the requirements of this section and is of quality and safety the qualification guarantee is a separate conformity assessment activity and shall be assessed as qualified; if it meets the requirements of this part and is one of the basis for acceptance, it shall be accepted Declaration of conformity.

5 Issued subject

The Declaration of Conformity for the Quality and Safety of Import and Export Industrial Products is issued by its brand, manufacturer or consignee.
