Introduction
Hydrogen cyanide is a colorless liquid at room temperature, the smell of bitter almonds. Hydrogen cyanide soluble in water, alcohol, ether and the like. Alkali and generate hydrogen cyanide salts thereof when boiling water, partial hydrolysis to generate ammonium formate. Under basic conditions, with an aldehyde, a ketone cyanohydrin combine to form, with acetone to acetone Effect Cyanohydrin. Hydrogen cyanide is mainly used in the manufacture of acrylonitrile and acrylic resins and pesticides, and sodium cyanide is the most basic and most important of cyanide Hydrogen downstream products.
In accordance with the United Nations "on the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Model Regulations" (UNRTDG) hydrogen cyanide main risk is classified as 6.1 Class of toxic substances, dangerous times classified as a Category 3 flammable liquid, UN No. 1051. Highly toxic hydrogen cyanide, a short time inhalation of high concentrations of cyanide Hydrogen, can cause immediate respiratory arrest and death. Hydrogen cyanide flammable vapor and air can form explosive mixtures case of fire, high-heat Combustion caused the explosion.
In March 2011 the State Council issued the "dangerous chemical safety regulations" [591 State Council Decree] provides for inspection and quarantine departments Responsible for the import and export of hazardous chemicals and their packaging implementation of the inspection. To ensure the effective implementation of the relevant inspection and quarantine operations, standardize import and export Dangerous chemicals and packaging inspection and supervision work, the development of this standard.
