1 Scope

This section provides the iron ore manual sampling methods.

This section applies to natural iron ore and iron ore processing to obtain particle size distribution, moisture content, chemical composition and physical properties measurement sample.

These methods apply from the conveyor belt, railway wagons, containers (including trucks), to take the ship and stockpile ore samples.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 20565 and GB/T 2007.1 ~ 2007.7 establishes the terms and definitions apply to this section.

4 Sampling scheme

Sampling program are as follows.

a) verify that the sampling consignment or part consignment;

b) determine the maximum size of the consignment;

c) determining the amount of increment to the maximum size;

d) determining the type of consignment of quality fluctuations;

e) use of systematic sampling and stratified sampling when determining the minimum number of samples from parts of the consignment to be taken; when two samples used, starting with all the cross Batch selected goods prescribed truck or container, and then choose from a number of these wagons take point increments;
