1 Scope

This section provides grading and export of iron ore in the loss on ignition (LOI) quality assessment and determination.

This section applies to natural iron ore, iron ore processing.

This section does not apply to the processing of the metal-containing iron ore, sulfur content greater than 0.2% (mass fraction) of natural or processed ore, magnetite content Great to 0.97% (mass fraction) of natural or processed ore.

4 Sampling and sample preparation

For the experimental sample analysis shall be in accordance with GB/T 10322.1, ISO 3082, or SN/T 1797.1 sampling and follow GB/T 10322.1 or ISO 3082 sample size of less than 100µm in preparation. If water or ores containing compounds easily oxidized substance content when the particle size should be less than 160µm.
