1 Scope

This part specifies the general requirements for quality and safety of motorcycle tires, car tires, export-type car tires and truck tires.

Test methods, inspection rules and signs.

This section applies to motorcycle pneumatic tires, car pneumatic tires, export housing car tires and truck pneumatic tires.

2 Normative references

The provisions in the following documents become the provisions of this part by reference to this part of SN/T 1636. Quotations with dated and all subsequent amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this section, however, encouragement is achieved in accordance with this section.
