Part 2 of the series on simulation test scenario requirements for automated driving systems concerns unmanned minibuses. SJ/T 12112.2-2026 sets out the requirements for the scenarios used when an unmanned small passenger vehicle's driving system is tested in simulation instead of on a real road.

Automated driving developers, minibus manufacturers, simulation platform providers, test and certification laboratories and operators of passenger shuttle services can use it. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in the code indicates. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it, and it was issued on 28 April 2026, effective from 28 April 2026. It is a new standard. Unmanned delivery vehicles are handled in Part 1.
