SJ/T 12102.2-2026 is the English-translated version of 人工智能 车辆特征识别系统技术规范 第2部分：非机动车.

Part 2 of the vehicle feature recognition series addresses non-motor vehicles, such as bicycles and similar vehicles that are not powered motor vehicles. SJ/T 12102.2-2026 gives the technical specification for artificial intelligence systems that recognise the features of this class of vehicle from images or video.

It may be used by developers of recognition algorithms and devices, system integrators, city and traffic management operators and test laboratories that evaluate such systems. The standard is voluntary, as the /T in its code shows. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it; it was issued on 28 April 2026 and is effective from 28 April 2026. It is a new standard. Motor vehicles are dealt with separately in Part 1.
