This document is one of the five standards of the automotive chip certification review series: RB/T 133 (general evaluation requirements), RB/T 134 (design organizations), RB/T 222 (certification bodies), RB/T 247 (testing organizations) and RB/T 248 (computing chip testing).

This document was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA). Drafting organization: Certification and Accreditation Technology Research Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation. This document is issued for the first time.

Introduction

With the rapid development of new energy vehicles, automotive chips play an increasingly important role in vehicle performance and safety, and their reliability places very high demands on the capability of design organizations. The capability of domestic automotive chip design organizations is uneven, and many chips they design cannot meet automotive-grade requirements, which has become a bottleneck for the development of the industry.

To guide the orderly development of automotive chip design organizations and to improve the consistency and credibility of automotive chip certification, this document summarizes the common elements of the establishment, operation and management of design organizations and sets general requirements for their build-up and management.

1 Scope

This document specifies technical specifications for evaluating the capability of automotive chip design organizations, covering technical capability, innovation capability, management capability, risk prevention capability and intellectual property protection capability.

This document is applicable to the build-up and management of automotive chip design organizations. It can be used by design organizations as a reference for self-improvement and standardized development, and by regulators as a reference for supervision and evaluation.
