Scope
QC/T 958-2013 is the English-translated version of 汽车真空泵性能要求及台架试验方法.
The vane vacuum pumps that serve a vehicle's vacuum booster brake system are the subject of QC/T 958-2013, a recommended standard of the Chinese automotive industry.
It lays down the performance requirements for such pumps, referred to throughout simply as the pump, and the test methods used to check them. Its scope is limited to wet vane vacuum pumps fitted to automobiles.
GB/T 10125-1997 and GB 11122-2006 are cited and applied alongside it. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the standard, which carries the Chinese classification T24. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
