Scope

QC/T 1095-2018 is the English-translated version of 汽车辅助真空泵性能要求及台架试验方法.

QC/T 1095-2018 covers the assist vacuum pump of an automotive hydraulic brake system, giving its performance requirements, test-related requirements and test methods; it applies to electric vacuum pumps that provide assist vacuum pressure for a vacuum booster servo device, and not to independent electric vacuum pumps.

Performance is judged mainly by the evacuation air time measured at room temperature after each test, with the working current recorded within 100 ms of starting and at 400 ms.

The pump is run at normal temperature, at -40 °C ± 2 °C and at 100 °C ± 2 °C, and for a single continuous 60 s period with the vacuum tank held at 35 kPa to 45 kPa.

Further tests cover vibration and shock, overvoltage, 100 cycles alternating between 100 °C and -40 °C, storage for 24 h at 120 °C and at -40 °C, damp heat, a protection degree of not less than IP55 to GB/T 4942.1-2006, 144 h of neutral salt spray to GB/T 10125-2012 and media resistance to media such as gasoline or diesel, brake fluid, engine oil and coolant. Issued on 4 July 2018, it has applied since 1 January 2019.
