QC/T 782-2007 is the English-translated version of 自卸汽车密闭式顶盖 技术条件.

QC/T 782-2007 is a recommended automotive industry standard of China covering the enclosed cover, or closing roof, of a dump truck. It defines the product, sets out its types and basic parameters, and then gives the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, with marking, instructions, packaging, transport and storage.

It is written for rigid metal covers of welded or riveted construction, fitted to vehicles in production or retrofitted to vehicles in service, whose purpose is to stop solid material dusting or spilling during carriage.

Covers of soft fabric and similar sealing top devices are excluded. Quoted documents include GB/T 3766, GB/T 7935, GB 9969.1, GB/T 13306, JB/T 5943, JB/T 6996, JB/T 8727, QC/T 484, QC/T 29104 and QC/T 29105. Issued on 14 November 2007, it has applied since 1 May 2008.
