QC/T 250-1998 is the English-translated version of 矿用自卸汽车试验方法 制动性能试验.
QC/T 250-1998 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard that lays down the test methods for the braking performance of mining dump trucks. It applies to mining dump trucks of every kind and sits under Chinese classification T46.
The standard is used with QC/T 76.1-1993, and it takes SAE J1473 in part as a non-equivalent reference. It carries forward the work of the older machinery industry test standard JB 3694-1984, which it replaces. Issued on 23 February 1998, it has applied since 1 July 1998.
