QC/T 76.6-1993 is the English-translated version of 矿用自卸汽车试验方法 燃料消耗量试验.
QC/T 76.6-1993 is the part of the Chinese automotive industry test series for mining dump trucks that deals with the fuel consumption test. It specifies the method by which the fuel consumption of the truck is measured, so that the figures obtained on different machines can be compared on the same footing.
The part is written for diesel powered mining dump trucks of all kinds. It takes the place of JB 3694-1984 and quotes QC/T 76.1, GB/T 12545 and GBJ 22, the three documents it cites.
Like the rest of the series it carries the Chinese classification T46. Issued on 20 October 1993, it has applied since 1 January 1994.
