Scope
QC/T 755-2020 is the English-translated version of 液化天然气汽车燃气系统技术条件.
QC/T 755-2020 covers the fuel-gas system of vehicles running on liquefied natural gas, giving the terms and definitions, the composition of the system and the technical requirements for its gas storage, gas supply, refuelling and safety components.
It applies to LNG vehicles and to dual-fuel and bi-fuel vehicles, where the nominal working pressure of the cylinder is no more than 1.6 MPa and the working pressure of the gas supply components no more than 35 MPa.
It replaces QC/T 755-2006. The general clauses require the system to cut off the LNG supply automatically when the ignition switch is not on, when the engine is not running, or when the supply line breaks or falls off; installation follows GB/T 20734 and GB 19239, and electrical parts follow GB 3836.1.
Fuel gas hoses and circulating water hoses are tested at twice the working pressure, with burst pressure no less than 4 times the working pressure. Bursting discs are not allowed in the cylinder, which carries a permanent nameplate and marked inlet and outlet lines.
Pressure gauges follow GB/T 1226, with minimum burst pressure no lower than 4 times the cylinder nominal working pressure, a range of 1.5 to 3 times working pressure and accuracy no lower than Level-2.5.
Further clauses cover liquid level sensors, transmitters and indicators, relief valves and the pressure relief pipeline, filling ports to GB/T 25986, gas leakage alarms and cylinder protection, with flame retardancy to GB 8410-2006.
