1 Scope
This document specifies the test equipment and test procedures for the performance of medium and high pressure pumps in ship's liquefied natural gas (LNG) gas supply system (FGSS) and additional testing.
This document is applicable to the evaluation of the mechanical characteristics of positive displacement pumps (hereinafter referred to as "pumps") and their auxiliary devices.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.2 A system that supplies lubricating oil to the pump crankcase
3.1 High pressure
The maximum working pressure is greater than 1.0MPa.
3.3 Seal gas
Gas used to separate the pump piston from the drive components and prevent freezing.
3.4 Test temperature
The temperature of the fluid during the test is specified by the customer.
