QC/T 741-2026 is the product standard for supercapacitors used in electric road vehicles. A supercapacitor is an energy storage device that can take in and release electrical energy quickly, and this document sets out the requirements for such devices when they are intended for electric road vehicles.

It is used by supercapacitor manufacturers, electric vehicle makers and their suppliers, and test laboratories. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in its code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 16 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 November 2026. It replaces QC/T 741-2014.
