Scope
QC/T 568-2019 is the English-translated version of 汽车机械式变速器总成技术条件及台架试验方法.
QC/T 568-2019 covers the technical conditions and bench test methods for automobile manual transmission (MT) assemblies, and it applies to manual transmissions for category M and N vehicles.
It replaces QC/T 568.1-2011 and QC/T 29063.1-2011. The assembly must be free of rust, with anti-rust grading to GB/T 6461, and cleanliness is set through a coefficient K in milligrams of impurity per litre of lubricating oil: 50 for category M1 and for M2, M3 and N without an additional transmission, 60 where one is fitted.
Fatigue life allows no abnormal noise, oil leakage or damage to main parts, tooth surface pitting being limited to 4 mm² accumulated area or 0.5 mm depth on passenger cars and to 4 mm² single pitting or 20 percent of a tooth surface on commercial vehicles.
Shift life forbids continuous gearing failure or five consecutive shift shocks, and the static torsion strength reserve factor K must be at least 2.5 in forward gears and 2.0 in reverse for passenger cars.
The bench clause sets run-in at oil temperature not above 80 degrees C, fatigue testing at 80 plus or minus 5 degrees C with the input at the engine maximum torque speed, static torsion with the output shaft fixed and input torsion speed not above 0.2 r/min, noise measurement in a semi-anechoic chamber with three microphones 1000 plus or minus 10 mm from the case, and gear-shift, dynamic sealing, temperature and high-speed tests, with at least two samples per item drawn to GB/T 2828.1.
