Scope

QC/T 474-2011 is the English-translated version of 客车平顺性评价指标及限值.

QC/T 474-2011 is a recommended standard of the Chinese automotive industry that deals with the ride comfort of buses. It sets the evaluation indices and the limit values for ride smoothness under random input running conditions.

The standard applies to category M2 and M3 vehicles and excludes sleeper buses from its scope. GB/T 4970-2009 and GB/T 4971 are quoted in the text, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is the issuing agency.

It replaces the earlier edition QC/T 474-1999 and is filed under Chinese classification T42 and ICS 43.080.20. Issued on 18 May 2011, it has applied since 1 August 2011.
