QC/T 403-2013 is the English-translated version of 扩口式锥螺纹直通管接头体.
QC/T 403-2013 is a recommended standard of the Chinese automobile industry dealing with the body of the male straight connector in flared pipe couplings. It specifies the types and sizes of this straight taper-thread fitting and the technical conditions attached to them.
Like the rest of the group, it is meant for automotive pipelines of 5 mm to 12 mm pipe diameter carrying oil, gas and other general media. Its normative references are GB/T 3, GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, GB/T 196, GB/T 197, GB/T 5653, GB/T 12716, QC/T 326 and QC/T 625.
It takes the place of QC/T 403-1999. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
