Scope

GB/T 5629-2008 is the English-translated version of 扩口式锥螺纹弯通管接头.

China's national standard for the flared tube male elbow, with a tapered thread on the port end. The elbow exists because a tube cannot be bent to a tight radius near its end: the flare has to be formed on a straight length, the nut has to slide over the tube behind it, and there must be room for a spanner - so a tube leaving a port at right angles needs a fitting rather than a bend. That is the normal case where a port faces into a confined space or towards an adjacent component. Being a tapered thread, the elbow's final orientation is set by how far it screws in, which cannot be predicted exactly, so the installer either accepts the angle the correct torque produces or shims the joint - a practical limitation the swivel and adjustable members of the family exist to remove. The standard specifies the dimensions, marking and technical requirements for tube outside diameters of 4 to 34 mm at 3.5 to 16 MPa.

Foreword

This standard is one flared fittings series. This standard is GB/T 5629.1-1985 "flared rectangular tapered thread fittings" and GB/T 5629.2-1985 "flared cone snail Amendment profile right angle fittings Style ". The main amendments are as follows:

--- The two standard content integration;

--- Modified Chinese and English name;

--- Threaded end of the column increases the 55 ° sealing pipe thread (R) and 60 ° sealing pipe thread (NPT), to cancel the original standard metric taper thread (ZM);

--- Increasing the hexagonal structure of the blank;

--- Reducing the parameters should be part of the manufacturer's control;

--- Tolerance on the part of prevailing standards of tolerance and fit adjustment;

--- Cancel the marked surface roughness, surface roughness is given in GB/T 5653 "flared fittings technical conditions" in. Since the implementation of this standard replaces GB/T 5629.1-1985, GB/T 5629.2-1985. The standard proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee pipe accessories. This standard is drafted by: The machine Productivity Promotion Center, Haiyan Pipe Manufacturing Co., Limited Jianhu particularly good hydraulic fittings the company. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions, marking and technical requirements flared taper thread elbow fittings and joints of the body. This standard applies to pipe outside diameter 4mm ~ 34mm, the maximum working pressure of the hydraulic fluid and transmission of a 3.5MPa ~ 16MPa General purpose piping system.
