Scope
QC/T 29117-2013 is the English-translated version of 摩托车和轻便摩托车发动机产品质量检验规程.
QC/T 29117-2013 sets out, as a recommended Chinese automotive standard, how the production quality of motorcycle and moped engines is checked by sampling.
It states the sampling requirements, the test items and the test methods, the basis on which the tests and the evaluation rest, the testing apparatus to be used, and the methods of conformity assessment.
Engines built for motorcycles and mopeds are its subject, as distinct from the complete vehicles treated elsewhere in the series. It carries forward and replaces QC/T 29117.10-1993.
GB/T 5363-2008, GB 7258-2012, GB 14621-2011, GB/T 20076-2006, QC/T 61-2008, QC/T 224 and QC/T 683-2002 are quoted. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
