QB/T 2921-2007 is the English-translated version of 箱包 跌落试验方法.
QB/T 2921-2007 is the Chinese light industry drop test for cases and bags of daily use - suitcases, trolley cases, travel bags and similar luggage. Luggage is routinely dropped when it is lifted, loaded and handled, and the drop test checks that it survives without breaking.
The specimen, carrying a specified load, is released from a specified height and falls freely, and the resulting shock is used to check the integrity of the case or bag body, the opening, the fasteners and connections, the trolley handle, the wheels, wheel axles and wheel stands and the lock, as well as the strength of the structure as a whole. It took effect on 1 June 2008.

2 Principle
Put the specimen bearing specified load at specified height, let it fall down naturally to generate shock oscillation, and inspect perfection degree of such parts as case body (bag body), case opening, fasteners, connections, tie bar, traveling wheel, wheel axle, wheel stand and lock as well as strength of specimen integral structure.
