Scope
NB/T 35063-2015 is the English-translated version of 水电工程环境监理规范.
NB/T 35063-2015 is a recommended Chinese energy industry code for environmental supervision on hydropower projects, that is, the oversight exercised on site to see that the agreed environmental measures are actually carried out.
It is written for large and medium-sized hydropower projects, and small projects may follow it as well. The code carries the classification P59 and the international code 27.140 for hydraulic energy engineering.
It follows the pattern of construction supervision set by GB/T 50319-2013, which it cites. Issued on 27 October 2015, it has applied since 1 March 2016.
