NB/T 34033-2016 is the English-translated version of 家用太阳能热水器支架.
NB/T 34033-2016 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard for the support frames of domestic solar water heaters. It classifies and marks these brackets and gives their technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, together with provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
The standard is written for the brackets of compact household solar water heaters with a storage tank volume below 0.6 m3, formed by sheet-metal work from galvanised iron plate, aluminium alloy or stainless steel and finished by spray coating or painting.
Brackets of other materials or with other surface treatments may be handled in accordance with it. It draws on GB/T 191, GB/T 1766, GB/T 1771, GB/T 3098.1, GB/T 9276, GB/T 13384, GB/T 13452.2 and GB/T 19141. Issued on 16 August 2016, it has applied since 1 December 2016.
