NB/T 31088-2016 is the English-translated version of 风电场安全标识设置设计规范.

NB/T 31088-2016 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard on the design of the safety sign arrangement of a wind farm. It applies to the safety signs of onshore wind farms, whether the farm is newly built, retrofitted or extended.

The signs themselves follow the national documents the standard quotes: GB 2893 and GB 2894, GB 13495 and GB 15630, GB 5768.2, and GB 50034. Its Chinese classification P61 puts it with the engineering construction documents of the power sector rather than with a product specification. Issued on 7 January 2016, it has applied since 1 June 2016.
