NB/T 31082-2016 is a recommended standard of the Chinese energy industry for the high strength bolting assemblies used in wind turbine towers. It gives the types and sizes of these assemblies, the technical conditions they must meet, the test methods, the acceptance provisions and the requirements for packaging and storage.

Its scope runs over thread sizes from M36 to M64. Mechanical properties are referred to GB/T 3098.1 and GB/T 3098.2, the threads to GB/T 196 and GB/T 197, the steels to GB/T 699 and GB/T 3077, and surface treatment and examination to GB/T 5267.2, GB/T 5267.3, GB/T 10125 and JB/T 4730.4. Issued on 7 January 2016, it has applied since 1 June 2016.
