NB/T 31036-2012 is part 3 of the Chinese series on flexible, torsion resistant cables for wind turbines, and it is the part that describes how the torsion test is carried out.

It sets out the test equipment, the preparation of the samples, the procedure to be followed and the way the results are reported. The method is meant for the cables of a wind turbine that run from the nacelle down into the tower and are twisted as the machine turns to face the wind, and for cables in comparable duty.

GB/T 3048.8-2007 is quoted in it. Issued on 29 October 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
