Scope
NB/T 20394-2016 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全级控制盘、屏和机架的设计与鉴定.
As a recommended energy industry standard, NB/T 20394-2016 deals with the class 1E control boards, panels and racks installed in nuclear power plants. It states the basic requirements for designing these safety class assemblies and for qualifying them.
Reactors of other kinds may follow it as a reference. Individual components, plug-in units and externally routed cables mounted on such boards, panels and racks lie outside it, although their effect may be weighed when the assemblies themselves are designed and qualified.
Among the documents it calls up are GB/T 12727, GB/T 13286-2008, GB/T 13625, EJ/T 705 and NB/T 20073, and it takes the place of EJ/T 574-2006. Issued on 5 February 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
