NB/T 20133.4-2012 is the fourth part of the Chinese energy industry series on protective coatings for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, and it deals with how readily a coating can be decontaminated.
The part covers the sensitivity of a coating system to contamination by radioactive nuclides and its ability to give that contamination up again, determined under laboratory conditions.
It is meant for assessing the decontamination behavior of the coating systems used in PWR plants. The part is a modified adoption of the French standard NF T30-901-1995 and replaces the earlier EJ/T 1112-2000; it quotes GB/T 700, GB 8923-1988 and GB/T 9271-2008. Issued on 6 January 2012, it has applied since 6 April 2012.
