Scope
NB/T 20032-2010 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂反应堆压力容器承压热冲击评定准则.
NB/T 20032-2010 is the Chinese energy industry standard setting the rule for evaluating pressurized thermal shock in the reactor pressure vessel of a pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant.
It states the fracture toughness the vessel is required to possess in order to withstand such a pressurized thermal shock. Its scope is limited to the ferritic reactor pressure vessel materials of PWR plants.
GB/T 229 and GB/T 6803 are used alongside it. The standard takes the place of the earlier EJ/T 732-1992. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
