NB/T 20008.27-2017 is part 27 of the recommended Chinese energy industry series on other materials for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This part is devoted to ZCoCr29W4.5 investment castings used in the control rod drive mechanism, and it states the requirements for their manufacture, their inspection and their acceptance.
Its application is confined to castings of that grade intended for that mechanism in a PWR unit. The part carries the Chinese classification H62, which groups it with the standards for cast alloys.
