Titanium plate for class 3 heat exchangers is the subject of NB/T 20008.15-2012, Part 15 of the Chinese energy industry series on other materials for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
The standard states the technical requirements for the manufacture, chemical composition, mechanical properties, testing and inspection of titanium plate less than 1.5 mm thick.
It applies to deep-drawing titanium plate of at most 1.5 mm used for the plates of class 3 plate heat exchangers in PWR plants. Its checks are made to the quoted GB/T 232, GB/T 4156, GB/T 4340.1, the GB/T 4698 parts for titanium analysis, GB/T 6394, GB/T 8180, GB/T 23604 and GB/T 228.1. Issued on 6 January 2012, it has applied since 6 April 2012.
