NB/T 20006.13-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard that makes up Part 13 of the alloy steel series for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, covering alloy steel forgings for reactor coolant pump motor shaft assemblies.

It prescribes the manufacture, testing, inspection and acceptance of manganese-nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel forgings for the drive shaft, the intermediate shaft and the motor coupling of the coolant pump motor.

In the rough state the drive shaft is a solid cylinder of about 700 mm diameter through its central section, while the other forgings are hollow cylinders with a wall thickness of 50 mm to 100 mm.

It is classified H43 in China and 77.140.85 internationally. Issued on 19 October 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
