NB/T 11127-2023 is the English-translated version of 在用钢丝绳芯输送带报废检测技术规范.

NB/T 11127-2023 is the Chinese energy industry specification for deciding when a steel cord conveyor belt in service has reached the point of scrapping.

It defines scrapping, broken cords and the damaged surface area, and lists the items to check: operating life and appearance quality, including damaged belt surface area, cover thickness, depth of surface cracks, cumulative length of longitudinal tears and exposed steel cords.

It then sets the detection methods, how results are judged and what the test report contains, with an informative annex giving a report template. It is written for belts used in coal mines, while other industries may apply it as a reference. Issued on 6 February 2023, it has applied since 6 August 2023.
