Scope
NB/T 10735-2021 is the English-translated version of 煤矿特殊钻井规程.
NB/T 10735-2021 is the code of practice for special wells in coal mines, meaning large-diameter wells of 400 mm or more drilled for purposes such as gangue feeding, drainage, gas drainage and nitrogen injection.
It covers design, drilling process, well completion, engineering quality and completion acceptance. Wells are graded as complex, medium or simple by diameter and depth, the complex class starting at 1200 mm finished diameter or 700 m depth.
The designed well path, the actual well trajectory and the target point are defined, and threaded connections refer to API 5A. Drilling contractors and mine owners commissioning such wells are its users. Issued on 16 November 2021, it has applied since 16 February 2022.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.
1 Scope
This document specifies the design, drilling process, well completion process, engineering quality, completion acceptance and other technical work of large-diameter drilling in coal mines. Require.
This document is applicable to the drilling of coal mines with diameter larger than 400mm, such as straight drainage wells and gas drainage wells.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Special well of coal mine
Coal mines are large-diameter wells for special purposes such as gangue feeding, gas drainage, and nitrogen injection.
3.2 Large diameter well
Drilling holes with diameter >=400mm. According to the diameter and depth of large-diameter wells, large-diameter well engineering can be divided into the following three grades.
a) Complex. the diameter of the completed well is >=1200mm, or the depth is >=700m;
b) Medium-sized. well diameter >= 650mm and < 1200mm, or depth >= 400m and < 700m;
c) Simple. well diameter < 650mm, or depth < 400m.
