Scope

NB/T 10010-2014 is the English-translated version of 煤层气地震勘探资料采集规范.

NB/T 10010-2014 is a recommended standard of the Chinese energy industry dealing with seismic data acquisition for coalbed methane exploration.

It sets technical requirements that run from the definition of the acquisition task and the technical preparation through start-up acceptance, tests and demonstration of the acquisition method, field acquisition, evaluation of the data, crew and completion acceptance, and the sorting and handover of the records.

Two-dimensional and three-dimensional surveys both fall within it. The standard serves survey design, construction, quality control, data collation and quality inspection, and it cites SY/T 5171-2011 and SY/T 5314-2011. Issued on 18 March 2014, it has applied since 1 August 2014.
