LY/T 1984-2022restructured wood floors (English PDF)

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces LY/T 1984-2011 "Recombined Wood Flooring". Compared with LY/T 1984-2011, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes in addition to the dynamics, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The definition of "recombined wood" has been changed (see 3.1, 3.1 of the 2011 edition);

b) Delete the definition of "composite and restructured wood flooring" (see 3.3 of the 2011 edition);

c) Deleted the classification (see Chapter 4 of the 2011 edition);

d) Delete the grading and appearance quality requirements for first-class products (see 4.1, 4.3, 5.1, 5.3.1 of the 2011 edition);

e) Changed the defect requirements for tongue defects, pollution, wrinkled skin and paint leakage in qualified products (see 4.3, 5.3.1 of the 2011 edition);

f) Change the wear resistance requirements of the surface paint film (see 4.4, 5.4 of the 2011 edition);

g) Change the expression and inspection method of surface paint film adhesion index results (see 4.4, 5.3.10, 5.4, 6.3.11 of the 2011 edition);

h) Added the performance requirements and inspection methods for the release rate of total volatile organic compounds (72h) (see 4.4, 5.3.13);

i) Changed the inspection method of specifications and dimensions (see 5.1, 6.1 of the 2011 edition);

j) Increased density, 24h water absorption thickness expansion rate, static bending strength, and internal bond strength test pieces do not need to be balanced (see 5.3.3, 5.3.4, 5.3.5, 5.3.6, 6.3.4, 6.3.5, 6.3.6, 6.3.7 of the 2011 edition);

k) Delete the heat conduction efficiency index and inspection method (see 5.4, 6.3.15 of the 2011 edition);

l) The test methods for surface stain resistance and color fastness to light have been changed (see 6.3.10, 6.3.14, 5.3.9, 5.3.14 of the 2011 edition);

m) Changed the sampling quantity of physical and chemical properties (see 6.2.3.1, 7.3.3.1 of the 2011 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of reconstituted wood flooring.

This document applies to floors made of reconstituted wood.

Among them, dated references for documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15036.1-2018 and GB/T 28998-2012 apply to this document.

reconstitutedwood Fast-growing wood or small-diameter wood, branch wood, etc., which are made by rotary cutting, thinning or rolling, sizing, and forming billets along the grain, and pressurized.

A floor made of reconstituted wood.
