3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in LY/T 1619 apply to this document.

Pole-mounted hedge-trimmers A cutting component is installed on one end of a working rod, and the other end of the working rod is connected to a power device through a clutch, a transmission shaft and a transmission box A portable hedge trimmer that drives the cutting part to reciprocate and realizes the hedge cutting function.

4 Product model and basic parameters

The preparation of the product model is carried out in accordance with the regulations of LY/T 1621.

Product technical parameters should be given in the instruction manual and related technical documents, see Appendix A.

5 Technical requirements and test methods

General requirements

a) The ambient air temperature is -5 °C~40 °C;

b) The relative humidity of the air is not more than 90%;

c) The altitude is below 1 000 m.

5.1.2 The instruments and equipment used in the test shall be verified by the required metrological verification and are qualified and valid, and the minimum accuracy of the measured parameters shall meet the following requirements.

a) Vernier caliper, accuracy ±0.02 mm;

b) Steel tape or steel ruler, with an accuracy of ±1 mm;

c) Rotation speed measuring instrument, accuracy ±0.5%;

d) Thermometer, accuracy ±1 °C;

k) Photoelectric tachometer, accuracy ±0.2%.

5.1.3 The hedges used in the test are common shrubs or small trees. Under normal operating conditions, the cutting edge (cutting width) of the pole-type hedge trimmer should be able to Enough to cover all the hedges. The diameter of shrubs or small trees is 2 mm~6 mm, and the density of branches is uniform, in a square area of 300 mm×300 mm no less than 40 branches. The object of work is the branches grown in the current year.

Matching gasoline engine

5.2.1 Requirements

5.3.1.1 Requirements

The starting performance of the pole-type hedge trimmer should meet the requirements of JB/T 5135.1.

5.3.1.2 Inspection

The inspection of starting performance shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of JB/T 5135.2.

5.3.2 Idle performance
5.3.2.1 Requirements

The pole-type hedge trimmer runs continuously for 5 minutes at idle speed, and the speed fluctuation rate should not exceed 10%. The cutting device should not follow the idle speed.

move.

5.3.2.2 Inspection

The pole-type hedge trimmer runs continuously for 5 minutes at idle speed, and the engine speed is measured every minute, and the average value and wave of the 5 measurements are calculated.

Momentum. Observe whether the cutting device is moving when idling.

5.3.3 Acceleration and deceleration performance
5.3.3.1 Requirements

After the rod-type hedge trimmer runs continuously for 5 minutes at idling speed, it should not be turned off when the throttle is suddenly increased to the maximum position, and it should be suddenly switched from the maximum position within 5 s.

Reduce the throttle to the idle position and should not stall.

5.3.3.2 Inspection

After running for 5 minutes in the calibrated idle speed range, suddenly increase the throttle to the maximum, and then suddenly reduce the throttle from the maximum position to the idle position within 5 seconds.

Observe whether the flame is turned off.

5.3.4 Idle speed rollover performance
5.3.4.1 Requirements

The side-mounted pole-type hedge trimmer is turned over after running for 3 minutes at idle speed, and the pole-type hedge trimmer should not be turned off.

5.3.4.2 Inspection

The fuel tank of the side-mounted rod-type hedge trimmer is filled with fuel about 1/8 of the volume of the fuel tank, and the idle rotation performance is performed after 3 minutes of operation at idle speed test. From the horizontal position, the shaft makes the cutting head turn up, left and right 90° once, and tilt down 45° once. The staying time in various positions is quite a lot.

In 10 s, observe whether the pole-type hedge trimmer is out of flame.

5.3.5 Maximum no-load speed stability
5.3.5.1 Requirements

The pole-type hedge trimmer is subjected to a high-speed no-load test at the highest speed, and it runs continuously for 5 minutes. There should be no abnormal noise, and the fasteners should not be loose.

The volatility should not exceed 10% of the calibration value.

5.3.5.2 Inspection

Make the pole-type hedge trimmer run for 5 minutes without load at the highest speed, measure the engine speed every minute, and calculate its average value and wave at the same time, check whether there is abnormal noise and whether the fasteners are loose.

5.3.6 No-load reciprocating frequency of the cutting device
5.3.6.1 Requirements

The no-load reciprocating frequency of the cutting device at the maximum speed of the rod-type hedge trimmer should not be low...
