JB/T 9908.2-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9908.2-1999.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 9908 series.

2 Scope

JB/T 9908.2-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that specifies surface grinding machines with a horizontal wheel spindle and a rotary table. It sets the requirements for their manufacture and for the inspections carried out on them. The part covers machines with rotary tables of 320 mm to 1600 mm in diameter, in the normal and the precision accuracy grades. It is read with JB/T 9908.3 and JB/T 9908.4 and draws on GB 5226.1, GB/T 9061, GB 15760, GB/T 16769, GB/T 23572, GB/T 25372, GB/T 25373, GB/T 25374, GB/T 25376 and JB 4029. It supersedes JB/T 9910.2-1999. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
