2 Scope

This standard is the accuracy testing part of the Chinese machinery industry standard on spline shaft grinding machines. For machines of ordinary accuracy grade it gives the inspection methods and the matching tolerances for geometric accuracy, working accuracy, axis positioning accuracy and repeatability of positioning. The part applies to general purpose spline shaft grinders with a maximum grinding diameter from 80 mm to 320 mm and a maximum workpiece mounting length from 500 mm to 3000 mm. It quotes GB/T 17421.1-1998, GB/T 17421.2-2016 and GB/T 19660-2005. It replaces JB/T 9904.2-1999.
