It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9835.1-1999.

2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that sets the technical requirements for gear pumps used in agriculture. It defines the terms applied to these pumps and fixes their parameters, symbols and units, their basic parameters and their performance indicators. It then lays down the technical requirements, the test methods, the methods for checking assembly and appearance, the inspection rules and the marking of the product.
