JB/T 9760-2011 is the English-translated version of 内燃机 整圆主轴承 技术条件.
JB/T 9760-2011 is the Chinese machinery industry standard for the full round main bearings of internal combustion engines. It specifies the designation and code of main bearings, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.
It applies to full round main bearings (hereinafter referred to as bearings) for reciprocating internal combustion engines with a cylinder bore of 200 mm or less, whether the bearing body and thrust bearing are made as two parts or pressed from the same bimetal strip; products within this range must comply with it unless special design requirements apply.
It draws on GB/T 699 for steel, GB/T 1800.1-2009 for tolerances, GB/T 1958 for geometrical tolerance verification, GB/T 2828.1 for sampling inspection, GB/T 4955 and GB/T 4956 for coating thickness, GB/T 6462 for microscopic thickness measurement and GB/T 10610 for surface roughness.
It replaces JB/T 9760-1999. Issued on 18 May 2011 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT Announcement 2011 No. 13), it has been in force since 1 August 2011. Classification: ICS 27.020, CCS J 92.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the designation and code, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of full round main bearings for internal combustion engines.
This standard applies to full round main bearings (hereinafter referred to as bearings) for reciprocating internal combustion engines with a cylinder bore of 200 mm or less, including bearings whose bearing body and thrust bearing are made as two parts or are pressed from the same bimetal material. Products within this range shall comply with this standard, except where special design requirements apply.
