JB/T 9712-2014 is the English-translated version of 液力变矩器叶轮铸造技术条件.

1 Foreword

JB/T 9712-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9712-2001.

2 Scope

JB/T 9712-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the casting of torque converter blade wheels. It states the requirements for the castings, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transportation and storage. The standard applies to the impellers of torque converters, that is the pump wheel, the turbine and the guide wheel, produced by sand casting and by metal mould casting. It quotes GB/T 228.1 and GB/T 231.1, GB/T 2829, and JB/T 5941-1991 and JB/T 5947. It carries classification P97 and ICS 53.100, and it supersedes JB/T 9712-2001. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
